F-1 Regulations

For all international students to learn more about current F-1 regulations. Mandatory for those beginning a new program.

Work in the United States

For F-1 students who are interested in learning more about all F-1 employment benefits, with particular emphasis on Curricular Practical Training (credit-bearing internships).

Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Mandatory for F-1 students completing studies in May or the Summer Session who want to apply for post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT). Due to the lengthy authorization process, students are strongly encouraged to attend an early session. The International Student Advisor will only endorse the applications of students who attend one of these sessions. Please note you must be physically present in the U.S. to apply for OPT.
