Opening Day Information

Before Arriving:

To Bring on Opening Day:

  • Precollege wristband OR the Information and Consent Form
  • Student Schedule of Classes with room numbers
  • FIT Student ID Card
  • Class supplies


Cannot attend Opening Day?
If you are unable to attend the first day of your Precollege course, not to worry, you can simply join the class on "Day 2". Here are a few things you'll need to do...

Parents
Parents may not escort students to the classrooms. Parents may drop-off and pick-up their children in any of the college lobbies. Students and parents may visit classrooms after Orientation Sessions only. Also, please designate your "pick-up" location for the end of class before you arrive.

Supplies and Rooms 
Supply lists and the rooms numbers will be posted on the same page as class listings. Not all classes require the purchase of supplies.

Checking-in on the First Day:
Look up the date of your "First Day of Class"

  • High School Saturday/Sunday/Summer Live
    Location: John E. Reeves Great Hall (enter on 28th St)
    FIT Great Hall Entrance
    Students will report to the location, thirty minutes before the start of class. They will hand-in their Information and Consent Form or present their Precollege wristbands and then proceed to the classrooms.
    Saturday/Sunday/Summer Live High School students must present a photo ID upon entry.
  • Middle School Workshops
    Location: John E. Reeves Great Hall (enter on 28th St)

    Students will report to the location, thirty minutes before the start of class. They will hand-in their Information and Consent Form or present their Precollege wristbands and obtain an FIT ID card. Students will meet their instructors in the Great Hall and will be escorted to their classroom.
    Workshop students will obtain a temporary, four-day ID during check-in.   
  • High School Workshops
    Location: John E. Reeves Great Hall (enter on 28th St)

    Students will report to the location, thirty minutes before the start of class. They will hand-in their Information and Consent Form or present their Precollege wristbands and obtain an FIT ID card. 
    Workshop students will obtain a temporary, four-day ID during check-in.
