Winter Schedule

FIT will be closed for the holidays from Friday, December 23, 2016 through and including Monday, January 2, 2017.

The three work days, December 27, 28, and 29, will be made up by full-time staff, non-classroom faculty, and classroom assistants by working extra hours during the winter/spring recess or spring semester. 

Full-Time Staff, Non-Classroom Faculty, and Classroom Assistants:

Complete the Work Schedule Make Up Form and forward it to your supervisor prior to Friday, December 16, 2016.


Forward all signed forms to Cherese Hill-Cartagena in the Office of Human Resources during the week of February 6, 2017, but not later than the close of business on February 10, 2017.

Pull-Time Staff, Non-Classroom Faculty, and Classroom Assistants:

Part-time staff, non-classroom faculty, and classroom assistants who would have worked their regularly scheduled hours during this time shall make up the hours unless the employee chooses to forfeit their regularly scheduled work hours for that week.  For example: An employee scheduled to work four hours on December 27 and four hours on December 28 may work an additional eight hours any time through February 3 after consultation with his/her supervisor. Those hours worked should be reflected as "make up" time worked on the time sheet for the actual days worked.
