FIT’s Dining Services is committed to working with students regarding their dietary needs. Due to limited on campus housing availability, students requesting specific dietary accommodations must meet with the General Manager of Dining Services prior to requesting a specific housing accommodation.
Jan Weissberg, FIT Dining Services General Manager
If it is determined that Dining Services cannot meet the student’s dietary needs and the student has a specific documented dietary related disability, the student will be referred to FIT-ABLE to request an On Campus Housing Accommodation. If a student disagrees with the Director of Dining Services’ assessment and they have a specific documented dietary related disability, they can submit an appeal and an On Campus Housing Accommodation Request to FIT-ABLE.
