Almost anyone can register for noncredit and credit courses at FIT. Here's how to get started:
Noncredit courses are short, intensive seminars or workshops taught by an expert in
the topic. Please see individual course listings for registration deadlines. A mark
of either Pass or Fail is awarded at the conclusion of the course. Noncredit courses
begin with a three-letter code (CEO, SUS, SXF, etc.) and may be purchased immediately
through our store below. These courses do not require an application fee.You must be 18 years of age or older to register for noncredit courses, please visit
Precollege Courses if you are not.

Credit courses (non-degree) are officially registered with the State University of
New York and administered by an academic school and department. Tests, assignments,
and grades are provided by FIT faculty. Requirements to register for credit, non-degree
courses are 1) a high school diploma or its equivalent, and 2) the legal ability to
take credit courses in the United States (ie, not on a tourist visa). Credit courses
begin with a two-letter code (HA, GD, EN, etc.) and require an application process
and a $65 processing fee. Please note: this fee is nonrefundable and ONLY for credit bearing courses.
