This course is geared toward small Fashion business owners who are contemplating China Market entry.

China is fast becoming the largest consumer of fashion and luxury products in the world. In this class we tackle key issues in understanding this market and how it can impact your business. By completing this course you can determine if the China market is right for you and understand key issues in developing your marketing strategy for this very misunderstood, but strategic market.

Based in both New York and Shanghai, Mark Greiz is currently the Chief Consultant of Mark Greiz Consulting-a fashion and lifestyle marketing consultancy- and an adjunct lecturer at FIT's Dept of International Trade and Marketing.

Mark has an M.B.A from University of Hawaii and possesses nearly 20 years experience in international marketing and business development with a focus on the fashion, cosmetics, salon and spa, accessories and health and fitness categories. Fluent in Mandarin and Japanese, Mark has lived in China, Taiwan, Philippines and Japan and has had many opportunities to work with global, regional and local brands developing their business throughout the Asia Pacific region. He is considered an expert in the China market and has been involved in projects ranging from China market entry, branding, marketing communications, franchise and retail development, product development and channel strategy. Projects and brand collaborations include, Sephora, XpresSpa, Dashing Diva, Jeans West, Li Hong Yan, InSh, Boyds Dept Store, Jefen by Frankie Xie, Flex Resorts and Real Estate, Oyea Optical and Store Specialists Inc (Philippine master franchisee/licensee of over 50 major fashion and luxury brands).
