Join the FIT community as we take a united stand against domestic violence and sexual assault. From noon to 2pm in the Breezeway, resources and important information will be made available by members of local community agencies and organizations who provide services and assistance to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. You can help bring increased visibility to these issues and show your support for #NOMORE domestic violence and sexual assault by taking the #NOMORE pledge; the  FIT Models and Stylists Association will be on hand to take participants’ portraits.

Representatives from the FIT Counseling Center, NYPD 10th Precinct Domestic Violence Unit, NYC Family Justice Center, NYC Anti-violence Project, Safe Horizon, and more will be present to answer questions and provide further information.

The College urges all on campus on October 12th to wear purple to help generate discussion and awareness of domestic and relationship violence.

Pledge Purple & Domestic Violence Awareness Week are brought to you by the FIT Security Advisory Committee, the Campus Anti-violence Education Group, the Department of Facilities, the Division of Enrollment Management & Student Success, the Department of Public Safety, Counseling Services, Information Technology, Health Services, Title IX Office, Aramark, and Half the Sky.
