Essential Program Information

Emphasis on Choices within the Program

Within the program students can train for a variety of career paths. The two main choices are Curatorial and Conservation. All students are required to have the same pre-reqresites: two courses of a foreign language or demonstration of fluency; at least two college-level courses in anthropology, archaeology, history, history of art, literature, or related fields; and one college-level Chemistry course with a lab component. All students take the same foundation first year of mixed conservation and curatorial courses. At the end of the first year, a choice will be made between the two paths. For students intending to follow the conservation path, commitment must be made at the time of application.
