Dennis Dittrich

Dennis DittrichDennis Dittrich began his career as an illustrator in 1982 and earned his MFA from Syracuse University in 1986. His clients include Sports Illustrated, Smithsonian, Field and Stream, Electra Records, Golden Books, Reader's Digest, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. His work has also been featured in American Artist and Print. Presently serving the Society of Illustrators as President, Dittrich has also chaired the S.I. Membership and Lecture series committees and served on the New York Board of Directors of the Graphic Artist Guild.

Currently an Associate Professor and Illustration coordinator at New Jersey City University, Dittrich also conducts the Visual Thesis Creation class and serves as Thesis Advisor at Fashion Institute of Technology. Previous teaching appointments include St. John's University, Syracuse University, Pratt Institute, Nassau Community College and The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art.
