The Graphic Design curriculum gives you a firm foundation in the basic elements of graphic design and develops your expertise in creating graphic designs using industry-level technical applications. In hands-on classes and independent projects, you'll be challenged to take innovative approaches to visual design.
In this program you'll develop skills in:
- advanced typography
- editorial design
- environmental graphics, such as signage
- corporate identity programs
- media design
This two-year program focuses on skills that can be applied immediately in the workplace. A required internship provides experience in a professional setting. The Art and Design Graduating Student Exhibition offers a valuable opportunity to present your best work to industry leaders.
Emphasis is placed on helping students develop presentation skills and professional portfolios across different media.
