Completed applications may be submitted beginning each year online starting October 15 for consideration for fall admissions; there are no spring admissions. Please note the application deadline is February 15.
Completed Applications will receive a response within 4-6 weeks following the deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will be evaluated and admitted as space permits. Applications will not be reviewed until all required documents are received.
Briefly discuss your choice of program and reasons for interest, including pertinent work and travel experience. Also include your future professional objectives.
2. Curriculum Vitae / Resume
Upload a copy of your current CV/ Resume. Please note that a minimum of three years of full-time professional experience is required.
Applicants must hold a four year baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. Transcripts may be uploaded with your application (these become unofficial transcripts); official transcripts in its original sealed envelope must be sent to our offices.Transcript Guidelines for International Credentials
4. Testing Requirements
The GRE or GMAT exam is required; the GRE is preferred. Only those who have taken the exam in the United States within the last five years are exempt, and only if the scores are sent to the College directly from the testing agency. Please note that a minimum score is not published, as we determine admission based on review of all required material, and not solely on the GRE (or GMAT).
Applicants who do not hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university where English is the primary language of instruction, must take either The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Pearson Language Test (PTE).
The minimum TOEFL score requirement depends on which test format you are using:
Internet-based (IBT) test: minimum score must be 80
Computer-based test: minimum score must be 213
Paper-based test: minimum score must be 550
The minimum IELTS band score of 6.5 in the academic module is required.
PTE: A minimum score of 53 must be met.TOEFL or IELTS scores must be forwarded to the School of Graduate Studies. FIT's report code is 2257 (Institution); 99 (department).

5. Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation are required, one academic and one professional is preferred and must be submitted as indicated on the application form.
Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by the School of Graduate Studies.
