Black Fashion Designers, curated by Elizabeth Way and Ariele Elia, examined the significant but often unrecognized, impact that designers of African descent have had on fashion design.

The Museum Association of New York (MANY) Awards of Merit program recognizes outstanding programs and individuals who have enriched the museum community. They reward staff and volunteers for innovative efforts and encourage the development of new and remarkable projects. The “Innovation in Collections Access Award” recognizes exemplary projects that broaden access, preserve, and catalog museum and heritage organization collections.

The Award Ceremony will take place at 8:00 AM on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. Photo opportunities available.
