Madison Avenue

This week-long event, organized by Madison Avenue Business Improvement District (BID), featured specially-created exhibitions within the boutique windows of Akris, Bally, Brunello Cucinelli, Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Emilio Pucci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Etro, Herms, J. Mendel, John Lobb, Longchamp, Max Mara, Missoni and Mulberry all to benefit The Museum at FIT through the Couture Council.

A series of window displays told the story of each brand's heritage and a companion mobile app, designed by C&G Partners, presented visitors to Madison Avenue with an audio/video tour, featuring original commentary by Dr. Valerie Steele, brand ambassadors, and more.

The concept of heritage has become ever more important for fashion and luxury companies, as discerning consumers increasingly seek authenticity and quality. The Museum at FIT, New York's only specialized fashion museum, is pleased to collaborate with Madison Avenue Fashion Heritage Week Dr. Valerie Steele, Director and Chief Curator of The Museum at FIT.
