Financial Aid

FIT is committed to providing superior education at an affordable cost and to helping you find a way to pay for it. Financial aid is available from a variety of sources from scholarships, grants, federal loans, and work-study. FIT endowed scholarships are donated to the FIT Foundation by many companies, organizations, and individuals.

FAFSA Application Deadlines

2020-2021 Academic Year

Deadline for priority consideration for new, transfer, and current students: January 15, 2020.

Spring 2020 -  Admitted Students

Deadline for priority consideration for new students: 
October 15, 2019

The above deadlines listed are for "priority" consideration; you may still apply and be eligible for some programs after the deadlines.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid  (FAFSA) for the academic years is now available at fafsa.gov. Both the student and a parent will need an FSA ID  and their 2017 income tax information (for 2019-20) or their 2018 income information for 2020-2021, to complete the student's application.

Excelsior Scholarship

Application for the Spring 2020 Excelsior Scholarship has passed. To see more information  about the Excelsior Scholarship go to the HESC website.
