Ready for Change? Substance Use Support Workshop
Feeling isolated and alone? Feeling like it's hard to talk about your substance use
with family and friends? Feeling concerned that you are self-medicating and need support?
Come learn new ways to cope and deal with triggers in a non-judgmental setting.
Starts Tuesday, January 26, 5–6 pm; meets every other Tuesday throughout the Spring

This event is for international students in their first semester at FIT. This group
will help you adjust to your new culture and environment, give you a place to share
your experiences, and will offer you support in your transition to FIT.

For all students who went abroad during the 2019-2020 school year. You may be experiencing
"re-entry," which is when you face challenges as you readjust to the U.S. and FIT.
We will help you explore what you are going through and learn some positive ways of
dealing with it.

A safe place for survivors of sexual assault and abuse to learn ways to cope with
trauma and heal by sharing your story and supporting others.

Friendship Circle
Join our Friendship Circle program to explore how mentorship and friendship can benefit
your mental health and lead to wellness and fulfillment. This group will focus on
making new connections with fellow students, and learning how to establish healthy
relationship values and techniques.

Developing and Maintaining Relationships During COVID
Relationships can be tough, but COVID makes it tougher. This workshop helps you navigate
the difficulties in making and keeping connections both in friendships and in love
relationships.

Meditation and Soundbath Relaxation Experience
Join our experiential meditation and relaxation class which includes breathing exercises,
meditation and soundbath–a listening experience using therapeutic instruments that
reduce symptoms of stress, pain and anxiety. All you have to do is join and relax!

In order to be aware of our biases and assumptions, we must first get to know ourselves.

Peer to Peer Discussion Group
Join Internship & Career Services for a peer to peer discussion to be facilitated
by trained Peer Educators. You will be invited to share your career and/or internship
related stressors and successes, and to have the support of other students who truly
get what you're going through in these troubling times. Counselors from the Counseling
Center will be on hand to answer questions and provide support.

join us for the Living Through Loss support group. Come meet and talk with fellow
students experiencing loss in a safe and supportive setting.
