Animal Assisted Therapy

Welcome to the Animal Assisted Therapy page on the FIT Counseling Center website!

The Counseling Center has developed an animal assisted therapy program with the goal of promoting and supporting the well being of students over their time at FIT. Here at FIT, the program involves a number of outreach events every academic year, where certified therapy animals meet with students for fun and relaxing visits across a variety of campus locations.

On this page you'll find more information about the animal assisted therapy program at FIT, get details on upcoming animal therapy events and wellness initiatives on campus, and find fun facts and resources on how therapy animals can help you cope as you move through your studies at FIT.
