FIT's Career & Internship Services collaborates with employers to assist them in hiring and hosting our students for career opportunities and credited internships. We offer numerous services that employers can use to connect with our students and alumni. 

Members from our team are available to connect with you to discuss your hiring needs, discuss best practices, and build a relationship with FIT.

Job and Internship Posting Board

Employers are able to recruit for their vacancies by listing paid freelance, full-time, part-time and temporary positions. Employers who are interested in sponsoring a student can post their academic credited internship. Also, on-campus recruiters can register for career fairs or on campus interviewing. Symplicity powers our career and internship database. This service is free!

On Campus Recruiting
Representatives from varying fashion and related industries can engage in Career Fairs, FIT's On-Campus Interviews Recruitment Program, Tabling and Info Sessions. Meet and interview our students and alumni during the Spring and Fall Semester. See our programs below:

Career & Internship Fairs
Participate in FIT’s Career Fairs to exclusively recruit FIT students and alumni and to enrich your brand awareness and presence on campus. We host career fairs in the Fall and Spring Semesters.

On-Campus Interviews
Throughout the school year, employers are able to pre-select their interviewees online for the first round interviews in the Career & Internship Services Department. Recruiters filling paid jobs and paid non-credited internships are encouraged to participate. You can request a date through Symplicity or through our on-campus interviewing coordinator. We recommend setting up a date for interviewing by the end of August for Fall recruitment and by the end of January for Spring & Summer recruitment.

Retail Table Recruitment
Ideal for recruiters seeking to fill multiple seasonal and part-time retail positions. The tabling fee is $25 (cash).

Information Sessions
Present your company's career opportunities, culture, brand, and product to our students and graduates. These sessions last 30 to 60 minutes. You should submit your requested date 3 weeks in advance.
