Getting Involved at FIT
Getting involved at FIT is a great way to connect to your new environment, meet people
with similar interests, and create a support network. Involved students have higher
grades, graduate on time, and have great experiences during their time at FIT. Learn
about all the ways you can get involved, from joining clubs and being a Tiger Leader
to taking what you are learning in class and putting it into practice through co-curricular
experiences. At FIT, anything is possible. During this session, you will learn about:
The Department of Student Life, Benefits of Getting Involved, Clubs & Organizations, Paid Leadership Positions on Campus, Service Learning & Community Service Opportunities.

Life at FIT outside the classroom is as interesting and invigorating as you make it. Take your pick of more than 60 student clubs and organizations.

The aim of Leadership Programs is to offer an array of opportunities for students to develop a definition of leadership and how their talents can serve society.

Student Leadership at FIT is understood to be a values-based, inclusive process in which people work collaboratively to promote positive social change.

The FIT SGA represents the voice of the student body and acts as an instrument to foster cooperation between students, faculty and the administration.
