Weeks of Welcome at FIT - Spring 2019

The Weeks of Welcome program, also known as WOW, is a three week long post-orientation series of events. It is a balanced
combination of learning, excitement, and new experiences. As a returning student to FIT, students will participate in activities, events, 
and presentations reintroducing them to the campus and community. WOW provides a thrilling environment for students to meet
new people, and become re-familiar with FIT and New York City.

WOW is sponsored by: The Department of Student Life, Athletics and Recreation, Student Volunteer Community Services (SVCS), Student Leadership Programsthe Counseling Center, the Office of International Student Services, Health Services, the Career & Internship Center, and the FIT Student Government Association.

One Billion Rising
Stop by to learn more about the One Billion Rising movement, the largest mass action to end violence against women in human history, which began on Valentine's Day in 2012. This year the theme of Solidarity remains the focus of One Billion Rising. We ask that you join us as the FIT Dance Company and FIT Gospel Choir dance and perform as one to rise up against all forms of violence against women. Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be available during the event.
