Grace Arnold Malmquist

Grace Arnold Malmquist is Vice President and North American Region Head of Sustainability for Citi Realty Services. Grace is responsible for the sustainability impacts for Citi's North American Operations consisting of over 3,000 locations and 30MM square ft. In addition Grace manages the Global LEED and Energy Star programs for Citi.

Grace joined Citi in 2005 as to manage the furniture, finishes and interior elements of Citi Retail Branches. During this time she was instrumental in developing the LEED Retail Volume Build program and interior standards of Citibank branches nationally. .In 2010 Grace moved into Global Planning and Design where she was responsible for Global LEED Certification Program, Vendor and Contract Management and assisted in the development of Global Interior Standards.

Throughout her time at Citi, Grace has been responsible for many high profile projects including the Platinum LEED certification of the Citibank branch at Union Square and the Gold LEED certification of the Retail Branch Prototype. She is also a regular guest critic for student projects at FIT. Prior to joining Citi, Grace spent a number of years in as a project manager for a contract furniture dealer where she managed large projects for major banks, brokerage houses and law firms.

Grace is a LEED AP, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from SUNY Stony Brook, a Certificate in Construction Project Management from NYU and will earn her Master of Science from Columbia University in May, 2013.
