FIT's alumni magazine, Hue , was lauded this year with five awards from three prestigious professional associations. The SUNY Council for University Advancement (SUNYCUAD), an organization of advancement and communications professionals from across the State University of New York, honored Hue this spring with its best-of-category Award for Excellence for full-color magazines.
Earlier in the academic year, the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR), which represents marketing and public relations professionals at community colleges, awarded Hue first place in the magazine categories for both its national and District 1 (northeastern U.S., eastern Canada, and the UK) competitions.
Finally, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) awarded Hue three honors in 2009: a national grand gold for magazine improvement; a national silver for general interest magazine, and a regional gold in the four-color, community college magazine category.
Hue is published three times a year.
