March 13, 2020

In response to guidance provided by FIT, SUNY, and our state and local governments to help limit the possible spread of the coronavirus, we join our fellow cultural institutions throughout New York City and have temporarily closed The Museum at FIT, effective today, Friday, March 13.

While there are no identified cases of COVID-19 in the FIT community, all on-campus FIT-sponsored events have been suspended for the remainder of the spring semester. As such, all of The Museum at FIT’s Fashion Culture special programs have been cancelled for the spring season.

For current information about how FIT is responding to the coronavirus situation, please visit the college webpage where the most recent updates are communicated. Thank you.
