Copy Stand Tutorial

Using the Copy Stand to Photograph Oversized Artwork

This copy stand is available for student use. It is a great way to photograph flat art work, or as a tool in stop animation. Here is how to use it:

  • Attach your camera to the mount for a stable picture. The front of the mount will have a screw sticking out to align with the bottom of your camera (on left). Using the mount screw, affix your camera to the mount by turning the crew on the back end of the mount (on right).

REMEMBER TO TURN THE LIGHTS OFF WHEN YOU LEAVE! Please use caution! The lights can get VERY hot!
