Changes in Hours and Library Closures
The Library will be closed and/or have shortened hours on the following days:

- Closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day
- Open Friday, May 31: 9am - 5pm (5th and 6th floors only)
- Closed Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth
- Open Friday, June 21: 9am - 5pm (5th and 6th floors only)
- Closed Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day
- Open Friday, July 5: 9am - 5pm (5th and 6th floors only)
- Closed Monday, August 5 - Friday, August 16 for Summer Intersession
- Fall Hours begin on Monday, August 19, 2024
Pick Up Hours for Requested Material
Browsing in the stacks is available and encouraged. However, as an alternative patrons can request FIT books and DVDs through OneSearch for pick up. Step-by-step instructions and additional information can be found on our Borrowing Materials page. Items are located in a beige cabinet in the Main Reading Room across from the Library Services Desk. Make sure to check out these materials before you leave either at the self check out stations or at the Library Services Desk. Please do not come to the library until you receive a "ready for pick up" confirmation email. Pick up hours are anytime the 5th floor is open.
