NJ Bradeen, Professor-Librarian, Director, Interim Head of Research and Instructional Services, FIT Library 
Professor Bradeen joined the Library in 2002. He oversees Library administration while reporting to the VP of Academic Affairs. NJ holds a BS from Kutztown University and an MS from Drexel University. He has spent 35 years in various types of libraries including; public, school, hospital, special, health science, academic and finally FIT. Prior to coming to FIT, NJ has held positions at Ohio State University, New York Academy of Medicine, Columbia University, New York University School of Medicine and Bergen Community College. In his spare time, NJ loves to spend time with his husband at their homes in both New Jersey and Maine; taking advantage of skiing, gardening, fine dining and travel.

Naomi Schwer Bricker, Adjunct Assistant Professor-Librarian, Research and Instructional Services
Naomi joined the Library in 1990. Naomi serves patrons at the Research Services Desk, she teaches Library instruction sessions, and oversees the usage of the Library's "Ask the Library" online service. Naomi also authors Library research guides and serves as the Web Development Manager for the Library's website. She has a BA in English from City College of New York and an Master of Science in Library Service from Columbia University.

 no photo Mary Direnzo, Library Reference Associate, Research and Instructional Services
Mary joined the library in 1978. Mary provides research assistance to students and faculty as well as overseeing the daily operations of the Research and Instructional Services Unit. Mary holds a BA from Hunter College with a specialty in English language arts and studio art, her background is in early childhood art education. Mary's interests include pop culture, fashion history, and travel. 
 Ris member Loraine Baratti, Reference Associate, Research and Instructional Services                                                                                   Loraine joined the library in 1988. She provides research assistance to students and faculty and also contributes to StyleCat catalog maintenance. She is an active member of the Library Exhibits & Displays team. Loraine holds a BA in Art History from SUNY Purchase. Loraine has worked at NYU's Tamiment Library & Labor Archives, MAC Cosmetics, the New-York Historical Society Manuscripts Department, the Museum at FIT, and the Whitney Museum of American Art Library.

Alicia Estes, Adjunct Assistant Professor-Librarian, Research and Instructional Services
Alicia joined the library in 1997. Her subject specialties are business and economics and she has a particular interest in the licensing of electronic resources in an academic environment and resources that support entrepreneurship. Alicia holds a BA from Hampton Institute, an MLS from Columbia University and an MS from New York University.

Christina joined the library in 1999. She provides reference service to students, faculty and visitors as well as library instruction. Christina holds an AAS from Suffolk County Community College, a BS from State University of New York, Oswego, an MLS from Indiana University, and an Advanced Certificate in Archives and Records Management from Long Island University, Palmer School of Library & Information Science. She has previously worked in libraries at the Brooklyn Public Library and at Parsons School of Design. Her subject interests are decorative arts, design, photography and archives & records management.

Rosanne joined the library in 1981. She provides reference service to students, faculty and visitors as well as library instruction. She holds a BA from St. Peters College, an MLS from Catholic University and an MA from Trinity College.
 photo of RIS member Elizabeth McMahon, Library Analyst, Periodicals and Electronic Resource Services
Beth joined the library in 1997. Beth assists patrons at desks in both the Periodicals and Research and Instructional Services. Her work in Periodicals and Electronic Resource Services unit includes advising on the library's holdings of international fashion, textile, interiors, and art periodicals; she was an early champion of historical fashion forecasting materials, encouraging their collection and retention. Beth contributes to the library's social media presence and writes for the library blog "Volumes and Issues". She holds a BS from Bowling Green State University of Ohio, and an AA in fashion design at the FIT. After working in the fashion industry, Elizabeth returned to FIT to obtain an MA from the Museum Studies: Fashion and Textiles program. Since 2006, she has been working on her PhD at Bard Graduate Center. Beth has taught in the Graduate Division at FIT and at Berkeley College.

Matthew joined the library in 2006. He assists students with finding resources and supports colleagues and students with research. Matthew holds a BA of interior design from the University of Oklahoma and an MLS with a focus on archives, records management and preservation from Queens College in Flushing, New York. He also completed a post-graduate independent study in lighting and architectural systems at Penn State University. Matthew continues his enthusiasm and passion for interior design, lighting design, computer graphics software and web site navigation and design.

Beryl Rentof, Professor-Librarian, Research and Instructional Services
Beryl joined the library in 1977. Beryl provides reference service to students, faculty and visitors and teaches library instruction classes. Beryl also updates several Library Research Guides. She holds a BA from New York University, an MPA from Baruch College and an MLS from Queens College.

Liabrary Liaison to the following departments: Global Fashion Management, Direct and Interactive Marketing, Fashion Business Management, International Trade and Marketing for the Fashion industries

Maria Rothenberg, Instructional Services & Assessment Librarian, Associate Professor, RIS 
Maria joined the library in 2011. She loves working with students and faculty to help them become excellent researchers and discover all the amazing resources the FIT Library has to offer. Maria holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and a MFA and MLS from Queens College. Maria has previously worked as a librarian at LIM College. A fun fact about Maria is that she discovered librarianship while pursuing a career in the visual and performing arts and is happily surprised she became a librarian.

Marian Weston, Adjunct Assistant Professor-Librarian, Research and Instructional Services  
Marian joined the library in 1981. She teaches library sessions for courses across the curriculum, assists students and faculty with research and information needs. Marian has a BA in art history from SUNY Binghamton and an MLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked for American Heritage Magazine and the H.W. Wilson Company. In addition to FIT, she works at NYU's Bobst Library online reference service. Marians research focuses on the evolution of trend forecasting for fashion business.
