PART-TIME
Days/Hours: 19 hrs/wk; Monday - Friday, between 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma and completion of two years in an accredited
post-secondary institution of learning plus two years of appropriate experience;
or high school diploma and one year in an accredited post secondary institution
of learning and three years appropriate business experience; or high school
diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Experience working in a
college preferred. Computer experience with an emphasis on data entry required.
Knowledge of Banner and NOLIJ preferred. Quality customer service skills,
excellent telephone manner and the ability to work well under pressure are
required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to telephone, in-person and electronic inquiries providing basic
information on established Admissions processes, policies, procedures,
guidelines and eligibility requirements. Inform applicants of due dates and
deadlines; provide directions on how to complete the application materials.
Recommend other options/programs where applicable such as Saturday Live,
non-degree courses and seminars. Provide application status regarding missing
documents from the admissions Banner system. Trouble-shoot and resolve
processing problems or refer to the appropriate counselor.
