2 POSITIONS
Days/Hours: 30 hrs/wk; Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
or 10:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree and three years of current admissions experience counseling
prospective students with regards to admissions policies and procedures, and
rendering final admissions decisions at the university/ college level. Must have
experience in Admissions recruitment, in-depth knowledge of admissions processes
and functions; knowledge of organizational processes and computerized systems
and reports; experience conducting on and off campus information sessions for
admissions’ recruitment. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to demonstrate a commitment to student-centered services with the
ability to relate effectively to students, faculty and administration. Must be
able to work independently and to initiate and execute strategic plans for
admissions related activities. Ability to utilize word processing software,
e-mail, and WEB page capabilities as they relate to admissions and enrollment
management. Art related background desirable but not required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Counsel prospective students and applicants regarding admissions policies and
procedures and render final admissions decisions for degree programs. Coordinate
and participate in Admissions recruitment functions and conduct college
information sessions on and off campus. Produce and analyze reports which apply
to specific admissions activities and enrollment management.
