We are proud to be a diverse institution preparing students for a global economy.
When applying to FIT, here are a few additional items to consider.
All applicants educated outside the U.S. are required to have their credentials from those schools evaluated by World Education Services (WES)/China Credential Service.
Applicants do not need to send transcripts to FIT.
World Education Services (WES)
All applicants educated outside the U.S. are required to have their credentials from those schools evaluated by any National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) accredited organization which includes World Education Services (WES). For applicants who attended a University in China, your credentials can be evaluated by the China Credential Service. Applicants do not need to send transcripts to FIT.
National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
NACES is an association of credentials evaluation services. NACES does not provide evaluation reports; its members do. You should select a NACES member from the list of Current NACES members that can be found at www.naces.org/members. html to have your foreign credentials evaluated.
To ensure that your evaluation includes all of the information that FIT requires, please note FIT's requirements may differ from WES's country-specific requirements. All schools listed on FIT's application and resume / CV must all be listed on WES's application as well.
For FIT's instructions and requirements go to International Credentials. For questions or problems regarding document submission, please email WES directly
ATTENTION: WES evaluations constitute non-binding advisory opinions only. Where FIT's assessment of any credential(s) differs from that of WES, FIT makes all final determinations regarding course/grade/credit/GPA equivalencies, and degree equivalencies.

Applicants who have attended institutions in China have the option to use the China credential service within the graduate application to request and submit CHESICC authenticated credentials/ transcripts and verification's.
After entering your college/ institution in the educational history section of the graduate application, you will have the option to order official documents. The processing time for the CHESICC documents is approximately 20 days.
