Understanding Neurodiversity and Universal Design: Classroom Strategies That Work!

On May 29th, 2019, Dr. Justin Freedman, Rowan University, presented an introduction to the topics of neurodiversity and universal design. As part of the event, faculty had the opportunity to analyze the results of a university study on how students perceive disability related accommodations. FIT students were also available for frank conversation, and workshops showcased classroom strategies, information on ADA compliance, and faculty resources available at FIT.  Download sample of event survey (pdf)
