One-Year Students

Many one-year students have taken their required English, math, and science courses at another college or university.

If you were admitted to FIT without having taken English, math, or science, and need to take courses in any of these areas, you should submit SAT or ACT scores electronically to FIT.

If you have never taken the SAT or ACT, you can schedule an appointment for FIT's placement tests.

International Students: If you were required to submit a TOEFL score, you will need to take FIT placement tests instead of the SAT or ACT tests. Read more about placement tests for international students.

You will only need to submit an appropriate SAT or ACT score if arithmetic proficiency is a prerequisite for a required course in your program.
