Competition Guidelines: All designs must be your original work and not submitted previously for a design contest or competition or another website where your art is sold for commission. About Indiguild: Indiguild is an online digital print space using eco-friendlier, water-based inks to print directly onto textiles for the fashion, home decor and crafting industries. Upset by the plethora of cheap fabric stores, stolen designs and imports from a who-knows-where factory, Indiguild aims to create a website of carefully selected, highly curated prints that reflect the story of the artist behind them.

Joe’s Blackbook 2019 Design Scholarship
Details: Joe’s Blackbook is committed to supporting and nurturing the next generation of fashion designers. To that end, Joe’s Blackbook will award a $10,000 scholarship each to one Womenswear design student and one Menswear design student of junior year standing. The award money goes to the winning candidates’ school(s) to be applied towards the candidates’ senior year tuitions.

Competition Guidelines: Design an original menswear or womenswear collection for Fall/Winter 2019 that best reflects your design aesthetic. Each project must include: concept page / mood board, color / fabric / trim board, sketches from development process, technical flats, 7-8 key looks. Participants must also provide a one-page response to the following: What is the concept / inspiration behind the project? How does this project best demonstrate your unique aesthetic and perspective? Who is your target customer? What stores and brands appeal to your target customer? Details: You are designing for Law Firm located in New York City made up of roughly 150 employees: 20 Partners, CFO + 10 finance support team, CIO + 5 IT support, CMO + 6 marketing / PR staff, COO + 5 operations team members, 20 Counsels, 20 Lawyers, 15 Paralegals, 15 Corporate Associates, 15 Associates, 7 human resources staff, 10 administrative support, and 2 receptionists.

Competition Guidelines: Design parameters required in your drawing illustrates locations of elevators, stairs, emergency exits, window locations, ceiling height, and beams). Be as innovative and creative with the office space around these non-negotiable, fixed parameters: approximately 20,300 sq. ft., 12′ finished ceiling height, common area(s) such as restrooms, must comply with New York City building codes. Provide a caption for your drawing. A supporting statement will be required that articulates your vision of the “Workplace of the Future.”
