HOPE & HEROES Fashion Design Challenge


Details: Children undergoing cancer treatment must spend long periods of time in the hospital wearing the traditional, drab hospital gown. In recognition of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, Hope & Heroes is calling on the NYC fashion community to help re-imagine the next generation of hospital gowns for children. 

Submission Deadline: August 1, 2018

Winners Selected: November 2018 at Hope & Heroes Gala 

Guidelines: Designers and students are challenged to use imagination, cheer and creative ingenuity to design a children’s hospital gown, inclusive of a Velcro pulldown flap for chemotherapy port access. Submit graphic design in a PDF format. The winning gowns will be selected by three patient judges and featured in media release and at Hope & Heroes star-studded Annual Gala in November.  The vision is to reproduce the winning gown for all children patients at Columbia University Medical Center.

BoutiqueSetup Fashion Store Contest 


Details: Starting an online boutique is a great way for improving employment and getting more out of your business. For engaging fashion designers to get more active online, BoutiqueSetup is launching a fashion store contest where winners will get pre-setup fashion store website along with one year free subscription.

Submission Deadline: August 2nd, 2018

Winners Selected: September 29, 2018

Guidelines:Students who are passionate about fashion are invited to write an essay on- How to promote employment using fashion stores. There are no restrictions with word limit or minimum CGPA. Anyone with great interest in fashion industry can apply. You can send the file in PDF or MS Office format. Please send the completed essay to the email below.

Blogging Contest

theunbiasedreviews-blogging-contestDetails: theunbiasedreviews is a resource website featuring useful reviews and in-depth guides. This is our first competition program and there would be more in upcoming months. We are calling students to show their blogging skills and have a chance to win cash prizes. There would be three winners- 1st winner ($2000), the 2nd winner ($500) and 3rd winner ($200). You will also have a winner badge to put up on your blog.

Winners Selected: September 12, 2018

Guidelines: Write a post in around 500-1000 words telling about the face of [your niche] industry in future. You can change the title but the basic theme should remain the same.
