New Student Advisement

Congratulations and welcome to the FIT community!

The Academic Advisement Center is looking forward to getting to know you and having the opportunity to work with you during your academic career.

Appointments can be made using our online appointment system (using your FIT e-mail credentials) to meet with an academic advisor. In addition to in-person appointments, we are also available to have an online or telephone advisement session with you. Please refer to the specific instructions on the appointment page if you are interested in online or telephone sessions. Appointments are made on Eastern Standard Time so please account for the time difference when scheduling an appointment depending on where you live.

The information on the following pages for recently admitted students will provide you with what you need to know and the steps you need to take to prepare for your arrival on campus. You can also expect to receive separate communications shortly about a host of items, including academic advisement, course registration and New Student Orientation.

Reminder: Please check your FIT assigned email account through Gmail for important updates. Learn how to sign into your FIT email account.

The team at the Academic Advisement Center wishes you and your family a terrific summer and we look forward to meeting with you.
