    New Exhibition: Uniformity

    Uniformity explores the history behind a variety of uniforms, considering both their social role and their influence on high fashion. The exhibition runs May 20-Nov 19 at the Museum at FIT.

    Summer in the City

    FIT's Center for Continuing and Professional Studies summer courses and intensives are the perfect time to learn something new, catch up on your credits, or build skills to get ahead in your career. Classes begin May 23 and throughout June and July.

    Systems Disruption

    Distinguished Faculty

    The State University of New York (SUNY) Board of Trustees has appointed Judith Ellis, chair and founder of FIT's Toy Design program, to the Distinguished Faculty Rank.

    FIT's Annual Gala

    FIT and the FIT Foundation honored FIT alumnus Dennis Basso with the Designer of the Year Award, along with John and Laura Pomerantz, and QVC on Monday, May 9, 2016.
