Applicant Qualifications
Students seeking admission to FIT’s Accessories Design and Fabrication BFA program must hold an Associate degree from the FIT programs listed below, or an equivalent degree from an accredited and approved institution.

With advisement, the following courses must be completed to enter FIT’s Accessories Design and Fabrication BFA program.
- LD133 – FOOTWEAR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION I
- LD143 – HANDBAG DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION I

Admissions Information
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS: See above for degree requirements.
ADMISSIONS DEADLINE: The Admissions deadline date is January 1, 2013.
REQUIRED GPA: Please refer to the admissions website for entrance requirements.
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS: Portfolios must be evaluated by the Accessories Design department.
PORTFOLIO REVIEW DATES: Applicants must contact the Accessories Design office to schedule an appointment to show their portfolios.
ADMISSIONS DECISIONS: Applicants will be notified of their admissions decisions by mail, via the Office of Admissions. Please do not contact the Accessories Design department for your decision.
