Project Cool Roof

Last summer, students painted FIT building roofs with reflective white paint. This limits the heat gain from the sun reducing the amount of air conditioning needed during summer months.

Sustainability at FIT

There is an active and diverse group within the FIT community working together to incorporate sustainability into all that we do.  This group is involved in a wide variety of activities, among them is a yearly conference on Sustainable Business and Design. 

To facilitate communication among those working to advance the movement towards sustainability at FIT, an email list has been set up.  If you want to take part, request to be added to our list.
