Online
Online ordering is not available for jobs originating from FIT's departments using the budget-to-budget transfer process--please drop off jobs at the service desk (Pomerantz Center, D529A). This service is only available for FIT's current students and employees.
PrintFX Service Desk (Pomerantz Center D529A)
During open hours of operation, turn in your files via CD, DVD, USB, memory cards, external hard drive, etc. or put them into our file server drop-box, GFX100, which is accessible on-campus only. Then, complete an order form by either downloading it or coming to PrintFX.

Large Format Scanning
Available for flexible originals larger than 11x17 only that will not smear, smudge or leave a residue (soft lead pencils, wet paint/ink/correction fluid, etc.) on the optical sensors. Scans will be saved as a TIFF file at either 300dpi or 600dpi and will be saved onto the customer provided USBdrive. $8.00 Low resolution 300dpi / $12.00 High resolution 600dpi
Bookbinding
Choice of black, white or silver wirebinding. Optional 8.5"x11" clear or black cover. Maximum binding length is 11" & thickness is 1". Note: Self provided covers subject to approval and customers MUST cut their own covers to size.

Departmental Services
Professional in-house graphic designer available for FIT departments only. Logos, promotional materials, campaign posters, special projects, signs, etc. Please see the gallery of examples at the top of this page. Cost is $35/hr. The completion time can vary according to the complexity of the job. Complete a Design Form and if necessary, schedule an appointment for a free design consultation by contacting Jasper Lin, PrintFX coordinator.
Pay for these services by giving us a signed Graphics Lab Supply Reimbursement Authorization Form. All forms are available on the forms page of this website or at Pomerantz Center, D529A. Your department is subsequently charged via a budget-to-budget transfer of funds when PrintFX submits this form to Accounting.
Upon request, PrintFX is now offering a Pantone color chart that coincides with our printers using the PMS TruMatch color spectrum. A single book will be printed for a faculty member only as a class tool. At this time, we do not print multiples of this. It will be printed onto 8.5x11 inkjet paper, cut and spiral bound. The cost is $96.
*The self service area is for 'first come, first serve' printing, scanning, trimming & softproofing. Please use the open computer labs for everything else including any other software you might need which is not listed below. Additional printers and print release stations are available at other locations of the library.
