Financial Assistance Scholarship Opportunities for NYC Residents Currently Attending High School

New York City high school aged residents may be eligible for a financial assistance scholarship based on the criteria below. Please submit these items by fax to 212.217.7964 with the completed application for the desired term. Award recipients will be notified by email.

1.  An official copy of your high school transcript (to be attached to the fax form)
2.  An essay discussing the importance of Saturday/Sunday/Summer Live to your college and career aspirations (to be attached to the fax form)
3.  A recommendation letter from one of your teachers describing your dedication and character (to be attached to the fax form)
4.  A document indicating your need for financial assistance (to be attached to the fax form).

5a. SPRING: The deadline to submit for the Spring 2015 semester is February 14, 2015. The SPRING partial scholarship covers $250 (the total cost of one course is $308). Scholarship recipients are responsible for the remaining $58 balance and any supplies required for the class (most courses require supplies that students must purchase. The estimated cost of supplies should not exceed $50, except for Introduction to Photography with an estimated cost of supplies at $130.)

5b. SUMMER: The deadline to submit for the Summer 2015 semester is June 20, 2015. The SUMMER partial scholarship covers $280 (the total cost of one course is $320). Scholarship recipients are responsible for the remaining $40 balance and any supplies required for the class (most courses require supplies that students must purchase. The estimated cost of supplies should not exceed $50, except for Introduction to Photography with an estimated cost of supplies at $130.)
