The Financial Aid Department will be sponsoring a series of events, designed to reach out to students and parents who will be applying for financial assistance. There will be a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) application workshop, Financial Aid information sessions, and one-on-one counseling services.

Appointments are available for "one-on-one" financial aid counseling.  Sign-up sheets are posted outside of the Financial Aid Department, Room A212-A, or you may also call for an appointment at (212) 217-3560.

Spring 2012 Entrance Counseling

All students who are receiving Stafford Loans for the first time at FIT must also complete an Entrance Interview/Counseling Session before the disbursement will be released. There are two sessions during Orientation Week:

You may attend any Direct Stafford Loan Entrance group session.  A list of dates is available at Financial Aid Department or you may go to Direct Loan Counseling Session.
