The Museum at FIT Collects and Stores The Museum at FIT adheres to the highest standards of ethical practices in all of our operations and is dedicated to protecting the privacy of all visitors to our website. The information we collect and store depends almost entirely on how you choose to make use of our website and our services. We store the personal information you elect to share with us: your name, address, email address, and telephone number, for example. Registration may also be required and personal information may also be collected in certain areas of the website at which you specifically and knowingly provide such information, e.g. community postings (such as chat or bulletin boards), suggestions, or customer service requests.

Information Collected Automatically: Cookies
Cookies are small files of information that are stored on your computer's hard drive by your web browser. Cookies do not contain any personal information; they provide non-personally identifiable information about you so as to collect aggregate information for site traffic analysis, such as the number of visitors and the number of pages viewed. The aggregate information we collect through cookies helps MFIT monitor how you and other visitors use the site, allowing us to provide an optimal experience and better service. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user's computer. Our website never uses cookies to retrieve information from your computer that was not originally sent in a cookie. Most browsers accept cookies automatically but allow you to disable them. We recommend that you leave cookies “turned on” so that we can offer you a better experience on this website. We never use or install spyware on your computer, nor do we use spyware to retrieve information from your computer.
