When to Apply

The FAFSA can be completed anytime after January 1. We recommend that you start the financial aid application prior to admission to FIT.

Deadlines for priority consideration:

New Students
Fall semester entry: February 15
Spring semester entry*: November 1

Continuing Students
Fall semester entry: March 1

*Students entering in the spring should also file a new FAFSA for the next academic year by March 1.

Applications received after the deadlines will be considered for whatever aid is available at the time the applicant's financial aid application is reviewed.

All students must re-apply for financial aid each academic year for consideration.
