Sponsor Organizations
By sponsoring an intern, your organization will:
- Preview potential employees without any obligation or risk;
- Discover new talent and encourage qualified individuals to enter the fashion and related industries
- Profit from the contributions of highly motivated students bringing innovative ideas to your position or project
In the 2008-2009 academic year, FIT's Internship Center provided more than 1,700 students in more than 25 academic majors with credit-bearing internships. These students were drawn from FIT Schools of Art and Design, Business and Technology, and Graduate Studies. The FIT/NYC Summer Semester Internship Program also attracts students from educational institutions all across the country. We are proud that more than one-third of our student interns are hired after graduation by their sponsor organizations.
