The women's tennis team swept all 9 flights at the 2011 Region XV Championships, earning them a trip to the NJCAA Division Tournament beginning Wednesday, October 26th. FIT's Women’s Tennis Team - The Tigers - has a strong winning tradition under the leadership of two-time Region XV Coach of the Year Lynn Cabot-Puro. The Tigers are perennially recognized as a leader in Region XV and have become a fixture in the Region XV Division III Playoffs.

The Tigers have been Regional Champions and competed for a National Championship five times in the last eight years with finishes including NJCAA Runner-Up, 6th, and 7th place in the country.

The team had five consecutive undefeated seasons in regional play from 2002 – 2007. Several First- and Second-Team All-Americans and numerous All-Region tennis players have been named from FIT.
