Application Instructions:
Carefully read and follow the instructions below. Your application is complete and will be considered only when items 1-3 have been completed. You are responsible for following up on all required payments and documentation:
Current FIT Students
In addition to the instructions above, be sure to complete the following:
Fashion Merchandising and Advertising Communication Design courses (FM226, FM491 & AC424) may require references, cover letter and resume, and/or other documentation and attendance to a scheduled mandatory course session. The assigned instructor will provide complete details during a scheduled information session. Details will also be posted on the Winter Abroad page as soon as specific instructions become available.

Current FIT Students
- Summer/Winter Abroad Application: The Office of International Programs will begin preparing for your study abroad course after you have submitted the online application.
- Summer/Winter Abroad Approval Form: A signature from the assigned instructor must be obtained for your summer or winter course participation approval. Your signature is also required after you have read and agreed to the written terms found therein. Submit to B119 along with a copy of the information page of your valid passport. (This will assist in organizing your flight/accommodation arrangements.)
- Application Fee + 1st Deposit: Immediately after submitting your signed approval form and a copy of your passport to the Office of International Programs, a $60.00 application fee and $200.00 1st Deposit must be paid at the Bursar's Office (B127). See payment schedule and cancellation policy.
In addition to the instructions above, be sure to complete the following:
- An unofficial transcript of all college work from your university
- Complete the Non-Degree Enrollment Form
