Counseling Services

Each year, hundreds of students come to the FIT Counseling Center for assistance with personal and academic concerns. There is no problem that is “silly” and no problem that is “too small.” In fact, we encourage students to contact us when concerns are beginning to emerge, as problems left untreated or unresolved can become much larger and affect your personal and academic well-being.

Our services are free to all students and are private and confidential. Faculty, staff, parents and student groups are also invited to use the Center’s consultation services and educational resources.

The Counseling Center staff includes licensed social workers and psychologists, 2 consulting psychiatrists and a counseling assistant. All clinicians have advanced degrees, training, and experience, and participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
