Center for Pre-College Programs - Saturday Live

Saturday & Sunday Live
If you're in high school and are thinking about what you're going to do next, now is the time to explore some career possibilities before you make the leap to college. And what better way to find out what you really want to do than by taking a course or two.

Saturday and Sunday Live courses run on the weekends during the fall and spring semesters, taught by FIT professionals who love what they do and love to share their knowledge even more!

Summer Live
These courses are similar to our Saturday and Sunday Live Program, but Summer Live courses run for three weeks in July, meeting every Monday through Thursday. Courses are taught by FIT professionals who can provide insight into their industries, the admissions process, or just show you how to enjoy the fields they love.

Join over 2,000 students from across the globe as they socialize with like-minded, creative students while preparing for college. The classes are great, but the friendships are better!

Middle School Summer Live
During the summer semester, middle school students have the opportunity to participate in courses ranging from fashion and jewelry design to drawing and painting. Students can create a variety of original artworks, create portfolios for admissions into high school art programs, and explore the various career opportunities available to artists and designers.

Vacation Workshops
Are you a high school student spending spring recess or summer vacation at home with nothing exciting to do? Well get off of that sofa and spend the week with us! Our Vacation Workshops are fun, short programs that will introduce you to some unusual and creative topics. You'll be both challenged and inspired by the new tips, tricks and techniques you'll learn in just one week.

High School Outreach
FIT's Center for Precollege Programs would like to know more about your school, institution or youth organization and its programs. We are please to extend special opportunities and programs to teachers, counselors, advisors, coordinators, and your students, ages eleven through eighteen.

High School Internship Programs
Many high schools offer their students opportunities to participate in internships. If you are a high school junior or senior and your high school hosts an internship program, ask your internship coordinator to contact us for information on making FIT your jobsite.
