Due to projects that are planned for summer 2013 all Residence Halls will have limited space available. You may be moved from your current assignment for the summer. All residents that need to move will be notified via their FIT email account.
Summer Housing Policies/Procedures
- Residents currently living in the residence halls are not required to take summer classes.
- Only residents accepted at Kaufman Hall both for Summer 2013 and Fall 2013 have the option to keep their belongings in their summer/fall room for an additional fee of $150. You will be contacted via email if you qualify.
- All spaces will be consolidated for the summer session and residents will be contacted by email to move to their summer assignments.
- Roommates will be assigned.
- Singles are available. Applicants/Students can register and pay the single rate (see rates for single).

Nagler Hall - all of Nagler Hall is closed
Coed Hall – all of Coed Hall is closed
Alumni Hall- to be determined. Please check your floor for postings.
Kaufman Hall- floors 10 & 11 are closed
- If you currently live in any of the above floors and residence halls and you would like to stay for the summer, you will be moved to your summer assignment. You will be contacted by email when your room is ready.
- No room switches will be granted over the summer session.
- Residents must pay for the entire summer session upon submission of their summer housing application.

FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED in order to complete & submit your summer housing application. Accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit/debit cards ONLY. You will be prompted to enter your credit card information on the final page of the application. Please do not mail, fax, or submit this payment to Bursar’s or any other office at the college.
Applications will NOT be accepted without payment in full. Those who withdraw from summer housing will NOT be refunded. If your credit card was accepted, you will receive an onscreen confirmation that your application has been received. An email confirmation will also be sent to the student’s FIT email address.
**Summer residents that have been awarded housing at Kaufman Hall for the Fall 2013 semester have the option of keeping their belongings in their summer/fall for an additional rate of $150. If you qualify for this option you will be contacted via email. Please continue to check your FIT emails for housing updates.**
*Roommates will be assigned unless applicants have paid the single rate. The single rate at Alumni Hall Quads and Kaufman Hall Quads includes your own “bedroom” within a suite. You will share the common area, kitchen and private bath with at least two other residents.
Overnight Visitation
All rooms are furnished with one twin bed per occupant and are not conducive for guests. There is a $10.00 fee for each overnight guest and guests must be pre-registered prior to their arrival. To register your guests please click here. All visitation rules and regulations apply:
