A student staff produces the FIT Yearbook, Portfolio. The club does all of the pre-production work necessary to prepare the book for the printer. Its members discuss and decide what the concept and design of the new yearbook will be and divide into committees with responsibilities for creating the cover, planning the sections of the book, and designing the layouts for each section. Staff photographers take many of the photographs that appear in the yearbook. Portfolio gives student designers, photographers, and artists the opportunity to work on a real project from beginning to end, from planning to printing, and then share then it with the entire FIT community.
