Disability Support Services (FIT-ABLE)
Within these web pages you’ll find how to register with the office, the documentation we’ll need from you, the difference between high school and college, and more. We work with each student individually, determining your accommodations for each course, each semester. Registering with our office is not mandatory, only if you wish to have accommodations in your classes and other accommodations on campus.
FIT is committed to providing an equal opportunity for all students to learn in an atmosphere free of discrimination, and upholds its obligations under Titles II and III, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and Section 504, The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, subpart e. Our goal is to help students with disabilities become empowered learners, obtaining their reasonable accommodations to study, to participate, and to learn how to manage these towards future years beyond FIT.
Did you know?
- Class size at FIT is limited to no more than 27 students in a class.
