Disability Support Services
The Office of Disability Services (FIT-ABLE) works with each student individually, case-by-case, course-by-course, and semester-by-semester to insure than every FIT student, regardless of disability, is able to become self-sufficient and ready to enter the job market. FIT is devoted to providing equal access to courses and programming in a non-discriminatory atmosphere, allowing students to develop their skills to the fullest.
All information provided to FIT-ABLE is confidential. No one on campus will know you have a disability unless you decide to share this with them.
Registering with FIT-ABLE allows our office to become your advocate in and out of the classroom. Students with either permanent or temporary disabilities are invited to discuss their individual status and initiate “reasonable accommodations” for college work and participation.
