WOMEN'S SOCCER MAKING HISTORY WITH FIRSTS ALL AROUND

A storybook ending to the regular season unfolded recently, as the FIT soccer team needed a win against BMCC in the regular season finale to pull into a three way tie for fist place.  After getting the win, a 3-2 decision that was decided in the final 13 seconds of the match, the Tigers needed more help by way of a three-way coin toss that determined the top seed for the region playoffs. SOCCER DROPS FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON TO OCEAN COUNTY COLLEGE

On the road once again, the FIT Tigers were unable to open the season with an unblemished record, falling to the OCC Vikings 6-0 on September 22nd.  The Tigers stand at 3-1 on the season and closed out a 4-game road stretch to begin the season.  The team will be home for their next game against BMCC on October 5th. 3 IS A LUCKY NUMBER FOR THE WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM

The women's soccer team was on the road again, this time at Cumberland County College to take on the navy blue and gold Dukes.  The Tigers left the match after blanking their opponent 3-0 for their third consecutive 3-0 shutout to open the season.  The Tigers are also 3-0 on the young season. ANOTHER 3-0 SHUTOUT FOR THE FIT WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM

The FIT Women's Soccer team played Suffolk County Community College on September 15th, and left with their second consecutive 3-0 shutout, bringing their record to 2-0. 2012 SEASON UNDERWAY WITH 3-0 SHUTOUT AT BERGEN CC

On September 9th, the FIT Women’s Soccer team, now in their second season, started it off right by defeating Bergen Community College.  “Nerves were high,” Coach Bevivino said as he described the anticipated match against the Bulldogs.  “We really wanted to accomplish a few things; start the season off with a win, settle the score against last years’ loss and find out how the team would play together.” Read More
