The Direct and Interactive Marketing curriculum focuses on developing creative and business skills including:
- database marketing
- direct response copywriting
- internet marketing
- market research
- media management
You’ll team with fellow students to develop complete direct and interactive campaigns, from creative development to analyzing customer behavior, for actual products and companies--and present them to industry representatives.
You’ll experience day-to-day direct marketing operations in a required internship. Students have interned at a wide variety of leading organizations, including Bloomingdale’s Direct, J. Crew, AX Armani Exchange, Ralph Lauren Home Collection, The Museum of Modern Art, Grey Direct, and Rapp Collins Worldwide.
FIT also offers a summer study abroad opportunity in London, where you’ll get a global perspective on direct and interactive marketing.
